I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mom was in rehab at Bel Air Manor for two weeks. The people were nice. The facility was clean. My mom hated the nutrient there. Her room was larger, and she had her ain bathroom. Some people spoke, but not all of them. They were not as friendly every bit the other facility. They were more expensive.

This is one of the worst facilities I have dealt with in my life. They care absolutely nothing about their patients or their families. They give alien information depending on who you speak to and have goose egg interest in trying to coordinate those communications. They offer nothing aid for families who are truly in need and are only interested in getting you "off their books". Forget trying to achieve them for anything. They hardly respond the phone and when they do yous have to exit messages. I left 6 messages for 3 different people and still got no response. They truly showed us where their priorities are. Non with patients or their families. I would highly recommend y'all practice not send your vulnerable loved one hither. They practise not intendance, evidence no pity and have nada safety polices in place for people who need it the most.

Nosotros placed my mother in Bel Air Manor mainly considering it was well recommended, only if I had read the reviews I would have not have placed mother there. This place is a nightmare. Those providing straight "care", performed in a way I tin only draw every bit something between indifferent and negligent. When we visited to find my mother's hygiene ignored, their water pitchers empty while she complained of thirst, or that she had been left sitting or lying in uncomfortable, sometimes excruciatingly painful positions for extended periods - nurses response "you have to wait until I become dorsum from luncheon to move you". Her dietary restrictions were ignored - her nurse decided to give my female parent (3) nutrition shake which was a dietary restriction ordered past her kidney doctor - her response "she will be fine" well she wasn't she was sent back to the hospital emergency room from at that place because of the ignorance and negligence. Complaints to direct intendance staff were often answered with rudeness, no communication what so ever. Had nosotros known what they were in for, we would've chosen a dissimilar place!! Very disappointed.

I had my mother at this facility. They had wonderful CNA'south nurses, rehabilitation services, the food was delicious, and a swell recreation department. They had music all the time and the recreation staff often visited to see if my mother needed anything. The dietary staff came to make sure she enjoyed her repast and if she didn't they would get her something else. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

My Mom was not showered, ignored. The CNA's felt information technology socks were not necessary for a 96 yr old wearing sneakers. Her hair was never combed. Medically inept nursing. Do non out your loved there. Information technology'due south tragic that such poor intendance and attitudes by staff are somehow acceptable for that facility.

We placed both of our parents in Bel Air Manor mainly because my mother previously had had a satisfactory experience there while in short term care. long term, however, was something of a nightmare. While some of the staff conducted themselves in a professional person manner, too many, especially those providing direct "care", performed in a manner I can only describe as something betwixt indifferent and negligent. All too oftentimes, we visited to notice my parents' hygiene ignored, their water pitchers empty while they complained of thirst, or that they had been left sitting or lying in uncomfortable, sometimes excruciatingly painful positions for extended periods. Complaints to direct care staff were often answered with excuses and sometimes hostility while complaints to management were responded to by reluctant and too often vacant promises. Our goal in placing our parents in Bel Air Manor had been to place them in a setting where they could been attended to and given comfort during their final days. Had we known what they were in for, we would've desperately sought an alternative.

My mother went in the for rehab, because she roughshod. The section of the building was wonderful, brilliant, cheerful, the nurses were practiced and caring. She not be on her own, nosotros moved to the long term and it was horrible, the nurse assist were hateful to the patient, I heard myself one of them say to a patient "yous need to stop crying or I'grand not going to help y'all. When I would await for a nurse or call to find out my mother was doing there were never a nurse around to talk to or answer the phone and my mother would take expect a long time to go to the bathroom because she would accept to expect for someone to take, considering she could not walk on her own because they always keep her in her wheelchair. They keep they patients by the nurse'south station so they do not have to be bother. I go on telling them that I do not want my mother by station and they would that was what she wanted which was not true. They exercise non desire to be bother by their patients. I am very sorry that I could not become my mother out of in that location. I would not recommend this identify. The ambassador really does not intendance, because when I would talk to her about concerns about things nearly my mom, she talk downward to me and say well she is up in historic period.

The food was horrible. Staff some were ok merely 1 nurse replied " what will you do if I wasn't here." Later Inasked could I have a real shower afterwards 5 days of not having a bath or shower. I was wondering if they were into smelling my funk ... Maybe they liked smelling me but even I could comport the olfactory property another solar day.

the administrator Marianne and managing director of nursing don't know what they're doing bringing the whole building down...had family member there earlier they were at that place and facility was excellent...now I got a family unit friend and the facility sucks specially with care of nurses and cna'south...no moral ...bad attitude....specially from administrator

My parent has been several times. When you first become at that place, everyone is accomidating. The service from nurses and aids are not the best. They are not all bad. Only a matter who you go. I ever had to hunt for information and felt I was out of the loop. The aids I found the worse. The bed side manner to your loved one is rude and short. These are ill people in this home, and they should be treated as a person and with respect. The food at that place is cheap and unhealthy. I will remember twice about returning a loved one there.

Bel-Air Manor was a newer facility. However, I was not thrilled at Bel-Air. They didn't seemed to know one hand and didn't seemed to know what the other hand was doing. I had to talk to the aids and nurses every day to get data. I was not happy with Bel-Air and I would never go back in that location. It had a rehab expanse on i side and had a physical rehab with machine in one stop of the building and higher up that was the rehab area of Bel-Air. But they also had facilities of convalescent homes.
