How Do We Get Element 115 Weaponized Black Ops 3

Call of Duty Warzone recently announced a massive nerf to the game's latest weapon as part of Season 4. The developers at Raven Software tweeted about an upcoming nerf to the MG 82 LMG which came from the series' multiplayer title in Black Ops Cold War. The tweet included a cheeky remark to the Pack-A-Punch Machine from the Zombies mode, which might have had a hand in the overpowered nature of the gun.

Along with the hilarious comment, the developers also mentioned that Element 115 was off limits in Verdansk. Fans of the Zombies storyline might know a lot about this strange element. But many players from the popular Activision franchise are still in the dark about this substance that has been part of Zombies forever.

The MG 82 (BOCW) made one too many trips to the Pack-a-Punch machine before deploying to Verdansk.

Element 115 is off limits in #Warzone so we will be making an adjustment to this Weapon soon. ☢️

The origins of Element 115 in Call of Duty

In the world of Call of Duty Zombies, Element 115 has a lot of importance. In the franchise, it also goes by the name of Ununpentium or Divinium, and the Germans found it first during World War I. It first appeared in Call of Duty: World at War, and in the game's storyline, an international research group called Group 935, headed by Ludvig Maxis, highly experimented upon it.

The Zombies storyline also stated that it came from a meteor that landed on the planet in different locations. This included places like Kino Der Toten, Shangri-La, Call of the Dead, and other Call of Duty Zombie maps. The meteor has an orange hue, and it also emitted some weird noises. But in the Black Ops II map Origin, fans also received their first look at the blue Element 115 stones.

Element 115 became quite important in the storyline as it helped create the Zombies in the game. This is because Divinium has a side-effect that included the reanimation of dead cells. The Germans first used it to create super soldiers, but they later realized that they couldn't control these creatures.

Other than that, it also powered all the important machines in the series. This included the Pack-A-Punch, Perk-A-Cola, and many more. Additionally, it also powered many of the Wonder Weapons like the Ray Gun, Wunderwaffe DG-2, and many others.

From its first appearance in World at War to its latest in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, the substance has been highly integral in the Zombies storyline. It remains to be seen if the lore will be fleshed out in the Warzone storyline soon. But if the developers at Treyarch or Raven Software decide to go for it, then it would definitely satisfy a lot of players.
